About Jim

Jim Ball was born and raised in Chattanooga, TN before moving to Texas where he spent most of his career in business. His life was radically impacted by Jesus in 2011. In 2014, he left the corporate world and then spent 5 years focused in South Asia.

Having returned to Chattanooga in 2016, Jim serves as the Vice President of Training and Development with WayForward, a Texas based nonprofit serving in multi-family housing in 8 US states. His wife Cindy is a first grade teacher at a Chattanooga area school and they have two children, Branson and Grayson, who are in their mid-20’s and are starting families of their own.

Funds donated here are tax deductible and utilized solely for the operating expenses of Cookie Project Asia and not as personal income. Jim started this project in 2016 in Patna, India but did not have the bandwidth to continue it along with his other work. We are excited to relaunch this now in 2024 and bring increased attention to the health deficiencies prevalent in India and among other South Asian children who are chronically malnourished.
